Ross County boss Jim McIntyre felt his side deserved to take all three points after creating a glut of chances in the 1-1 draw with Partick Thistle.
The Dingwall club only grabbed a point in the 88th minute of the Ladbrokes Premiership contest when Alex Schalk's penalty cancelled out Blair Spittal's first-half opener.
However, County dominated the contest and had a host of chances, with Thistle holding on at the end to secure their first point of the season.
A point stopped the rot for the home side too - they had lost their last three games since the opening-day win against Dundee.
McIntyre explained: “Second half especially, we had some really good opportunities. We made some good ones first half as well.
“It was really pleasing the way we continued to play because sometimes when you're playing that way and the goal goes against the run of play it knocks you out of your stride, which it did a wee bit.
“We were bemoaning the fact we hadn't scored before we did. Alex (Schalk) and Billy (Mckay) have come on and made a major impact, which is great to see.
“I'm disappointed we haven't managed to pick up the three points because there were really good opportunities in that second period.”
Spittal gave Partick the lead in the 22nd minute with a low shot fired under Aaron McCarey, before Schalk won and took the equalising penalty with two minutes remaining.
Thistle manager Alan Archibald felt his side weathered the storm well to emerge with a creditable draw.
“I thought we dealt really well with their onslaught for the first 15 minutes and after that we created some very good openings on the counter-attack,” he said.
“Again in the second half it was a bit of an onslaught for 20 minutes and we rode that storm."
