Rangers goalkeeper Robby McCrorie has been called up to the Scotland squad with three players dropping out ahead of the national team's Nations League triple header.

The 24-year old is yet to feature for Giovanni van Bronckhorst's side this season and only made two appearances last campaign.

McCrorie was also a late call-up during June's matches - coming in for David Marshall who announced his retirement from international duty.

His club teammate Jon McLaughlin has been forced to pull out of the squad after missing the Ibrox side's last two matches.

The Scottish FA have also announced Norwich City defender Grant Hanley and Stoke City forward Jacob Brown won't join up with the squad either.

Steve Clarke's side take on Ukraine at Hampden on Wednesday before hosting Ireland at the national stadium on Saturday night.

He then takes his side to Poland next week for the return match against Ukraine.
