Rangers have completed the signing of Moroccan forward Hamza Igamane on a five-year deal.

The 21-year old joins from AS FAR in his homeland and is set to represent his country at the Olympics next month.

He becomes the sixth signing of Philippe Clement's summer rebuild after permanent moves for Jefte, Clinton Nsiala, Liam Kelly and Connor Barron

Winger Oscar Cortes has also joined on a loan deal that will be made permanent next summer.

The Ibrox side have paid a fee of £1.75million for Igamane with his club explaining the reason they allowed him to leave.

A statement read: "The reason we have allowed him to make the transfer is we recognise the goal of this talented player was to go to Europe and we have allowed him the opportunity.

"It also helps the image of our club and Moroccan football.

"But Hamza will be the only player who will leave the club this summer. We have received offers and interest from other European clubs about several of our players.

"However, we feel it is important to keep the spine of the team to give us the best possible chance of winning titles this season."
