Rangers sack manager Philippe Clement

Rangers have sacked manager Philippe Clement.
The decision was made by the Ibrox board on Sunday following Saturday's 2-0 defeat at home to St Mirren.
Clement was given a public backing by CEO Patrick Stewart on Wednesday despite a humiliating Scottish Cup defeat to Queen's Park at the start of February.
The Belgian was expected to stay until at least the summer with former Manchester United chief Stewart saying they were looking to stick with their plan.
However, Saturday's damning loss to the Buddies on Saturday was the final straw for those in charge in Govan.
Rangers posted on their X account: "Rangers Football Club can confirm it has tonight parted company with men’s first-team manager, Philippe Clement.
"The club would like to put on record their sincere thanks to Philippe for his hard work and dedication during his spell in charge.
"A further update from the club will follow in due course."
Clement leaves the club sitting 13 points behind Celtic in the Premiership having been knocked out of both domestic cup competitions.
Clement leaves with one League Cup trophy to his name in his 17 months in charge.
