Rangers will face Manchester United, Tottenham and Lyon in the new League Phase of the Europa League.

Philippe Clement's side will also take on Olympiacos, Union SG, Malmo, FCSB and Nice with clubs now drawn against eight different opponents in the revamped competition.

UEFA have expanded the Europa League from 32 to 36 teams - with all of them competing in one league table.

Teams finishing in the top eight advance straight to the last 16 - while those finishing between 9th and 24th will compete in a new knockout play-off round.

Fixtures are expected to be announced on Saturday morning with every side guaranteed to play four home and four away ties.

Rangers will host Tottenham, Lyon, Union SG and FCSB.

They'll travel to Old Trafford to face Manchester United as well as away ties against Olympiacos, Malmo and Nice.

The first round of games will take place 25-26 September, with the League Phase spanning all the way through to January.
