Rangers fourth goal 'up there with best I've seen', says Murty

Rangers manager Graeme Murty believes his side's fourth goal against Hamilton on Sunday was up there with the best strikes he's ever seen.

Josh Windass fired home after a sweeping Rangers move that started deep in their own half, with Jamie Murphy and James Tavernier heavily involved.

Windass later completed his hat-trick as Rangers secured a 5-3 victory to move second in the Ladbrokes Premiership.

Murty told Rangers TV: "I thought our chance creation was very good and some of our stuff when we moved the ball really quickly was good, and I thought particularly, the fourth goal was a really good example of what I'd like the team to do and what I would like us to be.

"We were slick in possession and brave playing out from the back, playing through lines really well with minimal touches. It was brilliant creativity from Jamie Murphy and a clinical finish.

"I think it's as good a goal as I have seen - just a team goal, and just the quality of it was breathtaking for me. As I said, the power we possess going forward was really good for me.

"In terms of our ability to create chances, on a pitch which is difficult, I was really pleased with that and I actually think our game at Ibrox could have looked like earlier in the season if we had possessed more of a clinical nature which we had on Sunday.'
