Rangers have completed the signing of Schalke winger Rabbi Matondo.

The Wales international joins on a four-year deal for a fee believed to be in the region of £2.5million.

Matondo moved to Germany from Manchester City in 2019 and made 32 senior appearances for the Gelsenkirchen side.

The 21-year old was sent out on loan to Cercle Brugge in Belgium last season where he found the net ten times.

He has been capped 11 times for Wales and was on the bench for their World Cup play-off win over Ukraine last month.

Matondo told the club's official website: “I am absolutely buzzing to have signed for a club as big as Rangers.

“I am just looking forward to getting on the pitch at Ibrox in front of the amazing fans we have here at Rangers and I am excited.

“This is a big club with a massive history, and I just want to create more memories and more history here at the club.”
