Rangers close in on Antonio Colak as striker heads to Scotland
Colak will undergo his medical ahead of a £1.8m move
Antonio Colak is on his way to Scotland as Rangers close in on their first signing of the summer, according to reports.
A £1.8m fee plus bonuses has been agreed with PAOK for the striker after the last few weeks of negotiations.
Colak will undergo his medical in Glasgow before being penning a three-year deal.
The Croatia international will provide competition for Alfredo Morelos and Kemar Roofe up front, after the exit of Cedric Itten last month.
The 28-year-old only scored two goals upon his return to his Greek side in January but had netted 22 times in 41 games whilst on loan at Swedish team Malmo in 2021.
He scored twice against the Gers last August as his goals knocked them out of Champions League qualifying.
Elsewhere, attacking midfielder Joe Aribo is close to completing a £10m move to Southampton, with the deal expected to be completed in the coming days.
