'Of course Rangers can win the Europa League', says Giovanni van Bronckhorst
The Gers will face Eintracht Frankfurt in the final in Seville
Giovanni van Bronckhorst is confident Rangers can beat Eintracht Frankfurt in the Europa League Final after overcoming RB Leipzig 3-2 on aggregate in Thursday's semi-final.
The Gers have often been underdogs in the knockout stages but have eliminated Borussia Dortmund, Red Star Belgrade, Braga and now Leipzig.
The final will take place at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan stadium in Seville on Wednesday 18th May.
The Dutchman says his players have faith in themselves: "It all starts with belief.
"You have to work towards a goal and go all in and give everything to achieve it.
"Do we believe we can win the final? Of course we can win the final.
"We have to give the best performance we can and be the strongest team we can be on the night.
"We respect the team and we will prepare well to make sure we are ready for the game against Frankfurt."
Goals from James Tavernier, Glen Kamara and John Lundstram sent the side to Spain on an emotional but raucous night at Ibrox, that will live long in the memory of the supporters.
The Dutchman also revealed the team toasted Jimmy Bell after their victory, after the much loved former kit man passed away on Tuesday.
A minutes silence was held before kick off to commemorate Bell, who had been at the club for over 30 years.
Frankfurt eased past West Ham in the other semi-final, beating them 3-1 across two legs.
Frankfurt sit 11th in the Bundesliga but have delivered huge results in Europe as well, knocking out Real Betis and Barcelona.
The showpiece event in two weeks time is Rangers fifth European final and their first since Manchester in 2008, when they were beaten by Zenit St Petersburg.
Their only previous continental trophy came 50 years ago in Spain, when they beat Dynamo Moscow 3-2 in Barcelona.
