Rangers 'appoint' former Celtic transfer chief John Park
Park spent almost a decade at Parkhead
Rangers have appointed former Celtic recruitment chief John Park in a senior scouting role, according to a report.
Park spent almost a decade at Parkhead and is credited with identifying some of the club's biggest signings in recent years including Virgil van Dijk, Moussa Dembele, Victory Wanyama and Fraser Forster.
The 64-year old has since spent time at both Sunderland and Blackburn Rovers.
The Athletic are now reporting Park has joined the Ibrox club with scouting chief Andy Scoulding on his way to join Tottenham - although Park is not believed to be his direct replacement.
Park left Celtic following the arrival of Brendan Rodgers who brought in Lee Congerton to oversee their recruitment.
