Rangers have agreed a fee with PAOK for striker Antonio Colak.
The Ibrox side have been in pursuit of the Croatian international this summer as they look to bolster their attacking options this season.
Colak scored twice for Malmo last season as they beat Rangers in Champions League qualifying.
Sky Sports are now reporting that the clubs have agreed on a £1.8million fee.
However, they also claim the Greek club are yet to decide whether they will allow the 28-year old to make the move.
Elsewhere, Nottingham Forest legend Kevin Campbell believes Joe Aribo will have his head turned if the club follow up on their interest in him.
The Premier League new boys have been linked with a move for the midfielder as he enters the final year of his contract.
Crystal Palace and Fulham have also been credited with an interest in the Nigeria international.
In an interview with Football Insider, Campbell said: “We are talking Premier League football here though.
"Financially, Rangers cannot compete. That is unfortunately the case. That is the way life is.
“Aribo has gone up there and won his trophies. He’s had that success.
“Nottingham Forest are a massive draw. It is a beautiful city.
“With the money we are talking about, I think it might materialise. I think it would turn his head a little.”
