Queens Park agree groundshare at Firhill
Queen’s Park will play their home games at Firhill next season.
There have been complications with the developments with lesser Hampden and the Spiders needed an alternative home after their lease with the SFA expired in March.
Now an agreement has been reached with Partick Thistle, after they played the end of last season at Broadwood.
Queens Park President David Hunter said: “While work continues on developing Lesser Hampden, we have been seeking a good alternative venue to play our fixtures next season following our promotion to League 1.
“I am delighted that our Chief Executive Leeann Dempster and Gerry Britton of Partick Thistle have reached an agreement that means we will continue to play our home fixtures in Glasgow, causing minimum disruption to supporters. I know the news will be welcomed by supporters with happy memories of games we have played at Firhill in the past. Our thanks to Partick Thistle and we are looking forward to the new season.”
