St Johnstone striker Nicky Clark has won his appeal against the red card he was shown against Rangers on Saturday.

The 31-year old was sent off by referee Willie Collum for a challenge on Ryan Jack at Ibrox.

Collum was not called over to the VAR screen for a second look at the incident.

Manager Callum Davidson said post match that he couldn't understand the decision made by the referee and Nick Walsh, the VAR on the day.

The Perth side lodged an appeal this week and after a review the decision has been overturned.

A club statement read: "Nicky Clark has won his appeal for the red card shown to him against Rangers.

"He will now be available for selection for our match away to Motherwell this evening."
