Motherwell sign striker Callum Hendry
Motherwell have completed the signing of striker Callum Hendry from MK Dons on a two-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
The 27-year-old returns to Scotland after a spell down south with Salford City and MK Dons.
Hendry, who began his career at Blackburn Rovers, previously played for St Johnstone, Kilmarnock and Aberdeen, making more than 100 appearances in the Scottish Premiership and domestic cups.
He enjoyed his most prolific spell in Perth, scoring eight goals in 21 matches during the second half of the 2021/22 season.
Motherwell manager Jens Berthel Askou told the club's official website: “His energy, intelligence in finding space and finishing qualities will bring real value to the squad.
“He arrives with a wealth of experience and the hunger to make his mark.”
Hendry added: “It’s great to be back in Scotland.
"This has been in the offing for a while, so I’m pleased it’s done and I can now focus on football. I know some of the squad already, and I’m looking forward to getting started this week.”
