Motherwell will face either Bala Town or Sligo Rovers in the second qualifying round of the 2022/23 UEFA Europa Conference League.

Graham Alexander's side finished fifth in the Scottish Premiership last season to earn continental football.

The Steelmen have now found out they'll either be going to Ireland or Wales as they look to progress closer to the group stages of Europe's third competition.

The first leg will be at home on Thursday 21 July with the second leg to be played away on Thursday 28 July.

Motherwell's most recent European campaign saw them face Northern Irish opposition twice.

The Fir Park side beat Glentoran and Coleraine before being knocked out to Israeli side Hapoel Be'er Sheva.

Former Ross County and Dundee United winger Blair Spittal has been Motherwell's only signing of the summer so far.
