Morelos nets a double as Rangers demolish Dunfermline

Paul McGowan scored a second-half winner as Dundee beat Dundee United 2-1 to reach the last-eight stage.

Faissal El Bakhtaoui opened the scoring for Premiership outfit Dundee with a stunning volley which crashed in off the crossbar on the half-hour mark.

Elsewhere, 10-man Motherwell beat Ross County 3-2 after extra-time at Dingwall.

Gael Bigirimana put Motherwell in front early in the second half only for Alex Schalk to level for County after 65 minutes.

The visitors restored their advantage two minutes into extra-time through Chris Cadden but Craig Curran equalised from the penalty spot after 104 minutes.

Charles Dunne saw red for handling the ball on the line in conceding the spot-kick but it did not hamper Well, who secured the win in the 112th minute when Ross MacLean struck
