Hibs have sacked manager Lee Johnson following Saturday's 3-2 defeat to Livingston.

The Easter Road side have lost all three of their Premiership matches so far this season.

Johnson faced increased pressure from supporters following this weekend's loss to Livingston and the Hibs hierarchy have made the decision to relieve him of his duties.

Jamie McAllister and Adam Owen have also left with immediate effect.

Chief executive Ben Kensell said in a club statement: “The Club has taken the tough decision to relieve Lee Johnson of his duties following a disappointing start to the domestic campaign.

“We wish Lee and his coaching staff all the best for the future and thank them for their efforts.”

David Gray will take caretaker charge of the first team while they search for an successor with Stuart Garden also stepping up in a supporting role.
