Kilmarnock have completed the signing of Rangers goalkeeper Robby McCrorie.

The 26-year old moves to Rugby Park on a two-year deal to join up with manager Derek McInnes.

McCrorie came through the youth ranks at Ibrox but has failed to break into the top team - making just seven appearances in total.

He has made several loan moves over the years, including Queen of the South and Livingston, but has now elected to make a permanent switch.

This is despite signing an extended deal with the club last year.

McCrorie will also be hoping the move can impact his international career having already caught the eye of Steve Clarke.

He has been included in senior Scotland squads - but is yet to be capped by his country.

A Kilmarnock club statement read: "Kilmarnock Football Club are delighted to announce the permanent signing of Robby McCrorie, who has joined from Rangers for an undisclosed fee.

"Robby joins us at Rugby Park on a two-year contract.

"The 26-year-old Ayrshire native established himself as a key part of Rangers youth system, with successful loan stints at Berwick Rangers, Greenock Morton, Queen of the South and Livingston.

"A regular feature Internationally, Robby has appeared for every age group for Scotland, ranging from their Under-15s to Under-21s over the course of his career, as well as a full Scotland call up.

"We are delighted to welcome him to Killie. The former Scotland Under-21 internationalist will be available for immediate selection, pending SFA approval."
