Christopher Jullien's move to Schalke falls through at last minute
The 29-year-old Frenchman was on the verge of leaving Glasgow
Christopher Jullien's proposed transfer from Celtic to Schalke has fallen through at the last minute, according to reports.
The 29-year old Frenchman had been expected to complete his move to the German club after undergoing extensive medical tests but Jullien and Schalke could not come to an agreement over his personal terms.
The Hoops had agreed to let him leave on an initial loan deal with an option to buy after deeming him surplus to requirements at Parkhead.
However, he has now flown back to Glasgow and will look for another new club.
Jullien signed for Celtic in the summer of 2019 for around £7m and scored the winning goal in the 2019 League Cup final but suffered a long-term injury in 2020 and missed over a year of football.
