Josip Juranovic linked with shock move away from Celtic

Josip Juranovic has been linked with a shock move away from Celtic.

The Croatian full-back impressed in his first season at the club, scoring five times in 32 appearances in all competitions.

He helped the club lift the Premiership title and League Cup after being drafted in by Ange Postecoglou last summer.

However, transfer guru Fabrizio Romano is now reporting the 26-year old is 'expected to leave' the club this summer following interest from Premier League sides.

He tweeted: "Croatian national team right back Josip Juranovic is expected to leave Celtic FC this summer as many clubs are following him.

"Juranovic is attracting interests from Premier League clubs too after great season for club and country."

Any move would come as a surprise to Celtic supporters who saw the full-back operate on both flanks last campaign.

Juranovic was Ange Postecoglou's first choice right-back when fit and also filled in at left-back.

Meanwhile, Celtic are also reportedly closing in on a permanent deal for Jota.

The Portuguese winger impressed during a loan spell from Benfica last season with the club holding an option to buy him.
