Jili Buyabu Motherwell loan spell cut short
Motherwell defender Jili Buyabu's loan spell has been cut short.
The 20-year old has returned to Sheffield United early due to personal reasons.
He only featured once since joining last month in a substitute appearance in the Scottish Cup against Greenock Morton.
A club statement read: "Defender Jili Buyabu has returned to his parent club Sheffield United for personal reasons.
"Buyabu made one appearance in his time at Motherwell, when he was a second-half substitute against Greenock Morton in the Scottish Cup."
Buyabu was one of five loan signings made by Stuart Kettlewell during the January window.
Callan Elliot and Sam Nicholson also joined on permanent deals.
Celtic loanee Adam Montgomery also returned to his parent club soon after signing.
The full-back picked up a serious hamstring injury and will continue his rehab with the Parkhead side.
