Inaugural PFA Scotland Women's Team of the Year announced
10 of the 11 players come from Glasgow based clubs
The inaugural PFA Scotland Women’s Team of the Year has been announced, with 10 of the 11 players coming from Glasgow based clubs.
League leaders Rangers have a trio of Nicola Docherty, Sam Kerr and Lizzie Arnott included, whilst Celtic’s Caitlin Hayes, Chloe Craig and Charlie Wellings have all made the team.
Defending Champions Glasgow City have the most nominations with four, as Lee Alexander, Jenna Clark, Hayley Lauder and Priscilla Chinchilla feature in the line-up.
Midfielder Collette Cavanagh is Hibernian's sole representative in the side.
Rangers are currently top of the table, five points clear of Glasgow City.
The players are selected by fellow professionals from the top flight.
The nominees for the Player and Young Player of the Year will be announced tomorrow.
