Steve Clarke has named his first squad for Scotland's upcoming World Cup qualifying campaign.

Defenders Aaron Hickey and Dom Hyam are recalled for the first time in two years, whilst Lyndon Dykes is included for the first time in 2025.

Ryan Christie and Ben Gannon Doak are also back in after injury lay-offs.

Hickey's return will be a big boost to Clarke.

The 23-year-old has made two substitute appearances for Brentford in the Premier League this season, having been injured since October 2023.

Middlesborough striker Tommy Conway misses out as Greg Taylor, Josh Doig, Nathan Patterson, James Wilson and Ryan Porteous are also not included.

Scotland face Denmark and Bulgaria in September.
