Harry Paton and Steve Seddon among four Motherwell departures
Motherwell have confirmed the departure of four players, including Harry Paton and Steve Seddon.
Davor Zdravkovski and Moses Ebiye are also leaving following the expiry of their contracts.
The club had given a partial squad update at the end of the season after manager Michael Wimmer returned to Germany to take another job.
Some more clarity has now emerged following the announcement that Jens Berthel Askou has been appointed as Wimmer's replacement.
Motherwell previously announced the departures of 10 loan players, plus Mark Ferrie, Ross Callachan, Shane Blaney and Dan Casey. The latter two signed for Livingston and Wycombe respectively in recent days.
The club stated that they "remain in dialogue with the remaining players who are out of contract". They include left-back Dom Thompson.
Paton had been keen to stay but struggled to get regular game time under Wimmer after an injury-disrupted 12 months. The Canada midfielder made 63 appearances overall.
Seddon's sole season was also disrupted by injury, but he played 17 times. Ebiye showed finishing prowess and netted seven times, but only five of his 40 appearances were from the start, while North Macedonian midfielder Zdravkovski played 62 times in two seasons.
