Hamilton 3 Ross County 2
Jamie Lindsay's 89th-minute own goal handed Hamilton three Ladbrokes Premiership points following a bad-tempered five-goal thriller with Ross County.
Accies emerged 3-2 victors at the SuperSeal Stadium after a dramatic final six minutes which saw three goals, two red cards and stewards stepping in to keep players apart in a stormy finale.
Players from both teams charged over after a tussle between County's Kenny van der Weg and Accies' Ioannis Skondras and several traded blows. Skondras was shown a straight red card minutes after County's Michael Gardyne walked for a second bookable offence.
Dougie Imrie and Georgios Sarris had both given Accies the lead, with County levelling twice through Craig Curran and Van der Weg.
County's Chris Eagles missed a decent chance early on before Jim O'Brien forced a good save from Hamilton goalkeeper Gary Woods from long range. The Staggies continued to dominate and O'Brien missed a good headed chance.
Hamilton improved and Danny Redmond came close before Greg Docherty's header was brilliantly saved by Scott Fox.
Fox also saved well from Rakish Bingham before Accies took the lead through Imrie's controversial penalty on the half-hour mark after Gardyne was ruled to have brought down the goalscorer.
Eagles sent a dipping half-volley from the edge of the box just past the right post with County pushing for a leveller just before the interval.
The second half was a lacklustre affair until Accies sub Antonio Rojano whipped in an angled 20-yard strike which Fox did well to take at the second attempt in 65 minutes.
And County equalised in the 73rd minute through Curran after Gardyne had been brought down in a clumsy challenge from behind by Rojano. Curran fired the penalty low to the right only for Woods to parry, but he whipped the rebound into the roof of the net.
But the Highlanders' joy was short-lived when Sarris guided a header from an Imrie cross inside the post two minutes later.
Van der Weg smashed in an 84th-minute header from a corner by Davis Keillor-Dunn and there was more drama two minutes later when County were reduced to 10 men as Gardyne saw red for a second booking after clattering Darian MacKinnon.
Hamilton sealed the win with an own goal from Lindsay after a free-kick by Ali Crawford caused panic in the box, before the ugly scenes in stoppage time.
