Glasgow City reach Champions League last 32 with penalties win
Scott Booth's side beat Valur on penalties in Reykjavik
Glasgow City reached the Women's Champions League round of 32 after beating Valur 4-3 on penalties following a 1-1 draw in Iceland.
Leanne Crichton fired City ahead from close range six minutes into the second half after Jenna Clark had headed down Hayley Lauder's free-kick, but Mist Edvardsdottir scrambled in an equaliser after 79 minutes to force extra time.
It took 12 spot-kicks in the shoot-out to separate the sides, with victory coming for Scott Booth's team after Gunnhildur Jonsdottir put her penalty wide.
City will find out next week who they will play over two legs in the next round, and last season's quarter-finalists will be seeded in the draw.
