Giorgos Giakoumakis linked with Celtic exit as contract talks stall
The Greek striker was the league's top scorer last campaign
Celtic striker Giorgos Giakoumakis has been linked with a move away from the club in January.
The club have been unable to agree a new and improved deal with the striker, despite his contract running until 2026.
The Daily Record are reporting that unless there is a change with either party then an exit in the next transfer window, now just a month away, is likely.
Last season the Greek was the league's joint top scorer with 13 goals in 21 appearances.
Overall, the 27-year-old has 25 goals in 50 games across all competitions.
The club are understood to be in a similar position with right back Josip Juranovic, who is currently playing for Croatia at the World Cup.
The Hoops could cash in on both internationals and re-invest in the squad.
They have been heavily linked to Canada right back Alistair Johnston, who could be seen as a possible replacement for Juranovic.
They have already added 22-year-old Japanese defender Yuki Kobayashi to their ranks.
Celtic sit nine points clear of Rangers at the top of the table.
Their next game is against Aberdeen at Pittodrie on 17 December.
