Filip Helander to make long-awaited Rangers return against Annan
The central defender has been out injured since September
Rangers defender Filip Helander will make his long-awaited return to the squad this weekend.
The Sweden international hasn't been involved since being stretchered off in September's 2-1 win away to St Johnstone.
Helander established himself as a key member of the Ibrox squad under Steven Gerrard but has yet to be available since Giovanni van Bronckhorst took charge.
Van Bronckhorst says he is now looking forward to working with the 28-year old and revealed he will be in the squad for their Scottish Cup tie against Annan on Saturday.
He said: "Filip (Helander) has been training for a few weeks and will be involved tomorrow.
"I am really happy for him after a spell out.
"Leon (Balogun) had a scan and it was very positive, it wasn't as bad as we first thought.
"Ryan (Jack) will return to training this weekend.
"I have the most players available since joining the club plus the good additions from the January window.
"You will see changes tomorrow but our way of playing will remain the same, it is good to give other players minutes."
