Daniel Candeias has been rewarded with a new Rangers deal after extending his Ibrox contract until 2020.

The Portuguese winger signed from Benfica for a £700,000 fee last summer, and initially signed a two-year agreement.

He's become a consistent performer for Graeme Murty's men in that period, and that's already earned him an upgrade to his terms.

The 30-year-old - who leads the Ladbrokes Premiership assist stakes and scored his sixth Gers goals during Sunday's Old Firm defeat to Celtic - now follows James Tavernier, Josh Windass, Ross McCrorie and Alfredo Morelos, who have all signed new contracts in recent weeks
