Christopher Jullien Celtic exit a 'done deal' as defender heads to Germany

Christopher Jullien is closing in on a Celtic exit this summer after travelling to Germany.

The Frenchman has struggled to break back into the first team after recovering from injury and doesn't look to be in Ange Postecoglou's plans moving forward.

Jullien joined the Hoops for £7million back in 2019 but looks as if he is now on the move.

Various reports suggest the 29-year old has agreed a deal with Bundesliga side Schalke and is set for a loan switch.

The agreement is also expected to include an option for the German side to buy Jullien.

Celtic are also closing in on a deal for Argentinian left-back Alexandro Bernabei.

The 21-year old flew into Glasgow last week and is expected to sign for around £3.75million from Lanus.

Bernabei will put pen to paper on a contract until the summer of 2027.

The Parkhead side are also hoping to finalise a move for Jota following the Portuguese winger's loan spell last season.
