Charlie Mulgrew completes Dundee United move
The defender will join up with head coach Tam Courts at Tannadice
Charlie Mulgrew has joined Dundee United to become head coach Tam Courts' first signing at the club.
The defender was a free agent after leaving Blackburn Rovers at the end of the season.
He'll now move to Tannadice after agreeing a two-year deal with the club ahead of the new season.
The 35-year old spent last season on loan at English League One side Fleetwood Town, scoring one goal in 23 appearances.
It will be his second spell with the Terrors after spending a brief spell on loan there from Celtic in 2006.
Head coach Tam Courts told the club website: "I’m excited to have a player of Charlie’s winning pedigree available to me for the next two years.
"I believe that he joins an existing group of senior players who already give everything to make Dundee United better on the pitch.
"Charlie is renowned for his leadership and impact on young players which is something that will be valuable in their development."
