Charles Dunne red card downgraded to a yellow
The defender was shown a straight red card against Livingston on Saturday
St Mirren defender Charles Dunne will be available to face Dundee tonight after his recent red card was downgraded to a yellow.
The 29-year old was sent off by Willie Collum in Saturday's draw with Livingston after a collision with Sebastian Soto.
American striker Soto went down holding his face with Dunne given his marching orders.
The Buddies decided to appeal against the decision which went to a fast-track tribunal.
Dunne's challenge was originally deemed to be violent conduct, but has now been reduced to a cautionable offence.
A St Mirren club statament said: "Following fast-track tribunal, Charles Dunne’s red card for violent conduct has been reduced to a cautionable offence.
"Charles will not have to serve a suspension and will be available for tonight’s match."
