Celtic have rejected a ticket offer from Rangers for the upcoming Old Firm clash at Ibrox.
Clyde 1 Superscoreboard understands the Parkhead side were offered 708 tickets for the game on September 3.
Away supporters would have been situated in the corner between the Broomloan Road and Sandy Jardine stands.
However, Celtic chiefs have rebuffed the approach meaning there will be no travelling fans for the derby.
Rangers sought extra security measures for the game and were liaising with Police Scotland after safety fears had been raised by their rivals.
The move has not changed the minds of Hoops officials who have stood firm in their objection to the smaller allocations.
Michael Beale's side will still demand they are offered the same allocation for the next fixture at Celtic Park citing Rule I27 of the SPFL laws.
It states: "The Home club must make provision for the admission of such reasonable number of visiting supporters at every home League Match and Play-Off Match as may be agreed in advance with the Visiting Club and, in the event of their being unable to agree such number not later than 14 days prior to the date of the League Match or Play-Off Match in question, the number of visiting supporters allowed shall be determined by the Board whose decision shall be final and binding."
