The 28-year-old was voted the Hoops' player of the year by both team-mates and fans ahead of their awards night on Sunday.
The wide player has netted 25 goals and rejuvenated his career after being reunited with manager Brendan Rodgers following an unhappy spell at Aston Villa.
Sinclair told Celtic TV: "This is the best time and the happiest time in my career right now. To have the connection with the fans and all of them who voted for me, it just means so much to me."
With Celtic unbeaten in domestic football and 90 minutes away from the treble, Sinclair had tough competition from the likes of Stuart Armstrong, Scott Brown and Moussa Dembele.
He added: "It's amazing. The season we have had, there are so many other players in the team who were up for the award and it's great to get it.
"When your team-mates vote for you, it means so much. Anyone could have won it. Any award you pick up is special. When players vote for you to win it, it's a great feeling."
