A Celtic fan in Russia loves the club so much he's not only set up his own version of the team in his hometown - but has changed his name to show his affection the Scottish game.

Denis McGoalagh is the founder of Celtic Shatura, and is using them to exercise his love for both football and charity.

The amateur side currently play in the third tier of Russian football, and their aim is to give back to the local community.

McGoalagh is hoping to help children come off the streets and get into the sport, and claims he uses the Hoops as his inspiration.

He said, "As a Celtic supporter I hope to bring the Celtic way to my hometown and to give back to my local community and fulfill the Brother Walfrid's dream in the idea of charity.

"When we started the club we had nothing. At first we had only 30 or 40 people, but now we have over 100.

"We try to bring children from streets to the stadium".

McGoalagh travelled to all of Celtic's three away Champions League group stage games this season, and has modelled Celtic Shatura on his heroes.

He said, "There is no doubt that the most famous symbol of Celtic is the strip, so our first kits were Hoops style.

"Also if you look at our badge, you can see there a traditional Celtic clover behind the flag of our hometown.

"Every game before the start whistle we do the huddle, we try to bring as much Celtic spirit and tradition as we can here".
