Oliver Burke is bracing himself for an "amazing'' experience ahead of his European debut for Celtic against Valencia at Parkhead on Thursday night.
The 21-year-old has scored three goals in seven games for the Hoops since he arrived on loan from West Brom at the turn of the year.
In that time Burke has helped Celtic go six points clear at the top of the Ladbrokes Premiership and also booked a place in the quarter-finals of the William Hill Scottish Cup, where they will play Hibernian at Easter Road.
The Scotland international has yet to taste European football, though, and gets the chance in the first leg of the last-32 tie against the Spanish outfit.
I am really looking forward to the game tomorrow,'' said the former RB Leipzig player.
It is an amazing occasion for the team and for me as well. It will be my first European game as well.
I am really excited and I can't wait to play. It is an amazing venue, and it is going to be an exciting crowd.
We are in a really good place at the minute. Our form is good and the team morale is sky high. We go into the game to try to win and fingers crossed.''
Burke relishes the responsibility of driving the Parkhead side on from the front with his notable pace and power.
He said: It is really important position for me. I start up there and get the team going, defensively as well.
It is important for me to do what I do and what I have been doing and get the boys buzzing.'
