Holders Celtic will face Hibs in the last four
Motherwell were rewarded for their 3-0 Betfred Cup victory over Aberdeen with a semi-final tie against Rangers.
Celtic will play Hibernian in the other tie to open the prospect of an Old Firm final.
The Glasgow rivals have faced each other in four semi-finals in the past three seasons but will play on consecutive days at Hampden on October 21 and 22.
The draw was made moments after Motherwell swept the Dons aside at Fir Park
