Malik Tillman will not be signing for Rangers this summer after Bayern Munich cancelled the Ibrox side's option to buy the midfielder.

The USA international was named PFA Young Player of the Year after scoring 12 goals and getting five assists during his loan spell last season.

Michael Beale openly spoke about his desire to activate their option to buy the 21-year old this summer.

However, Bayern Munich have instead paid Rangers a £1million cancellation fee to rip up that agreement.

It is understood the Light Blues will also receive ten percent of any future fee the German giants get for his sale.

Rangers also look to have missed out on striker target Cyriel Dessers.

Italian outlet Calcio Mercato are reporting the Cremonese player has turned down the chance to move to Glasgow in favour of staying in Italy.
