Aberdeen have terminated the contract of striker Jay Emmanual-Thomas.
The Englishman was signed by Stephen Glass on a two-year-deal after scoring nine times for Livingston last season.
However, 'JET' has been unable to recapture that form at Pittodrie, netting just once this season, in a 2-1 Premier Sports Cup defeat to Raith Rovers.
The 31-year-old started four of the Dons six European fixtures this season, including the 5-1 win against BK Hacken and the 2-1 away victory against Breidablick.
He's the second player to have his time at Aberdeen cut short since Jim Goodwin took charge, with Mikey Devlin also leaving last week.
An Aberdeen club statement read: "the Club can this afternoon confirm it has terminated the contract of Jay Emmanuel-Thomas.
"The forward made 24 appearances for the Dons, making 12 starts and 12 substitute appearances and netted once.
"All at Aberdeen FC wish Jay the very best in his future career."
