Another Manager of The Month Award for Aberdeen's Jimmy Thelin

Dons boss Jimmy Thelin is Premiership Manager of the Month for October, with defender Nicky Devlin getting the players' award. Aberdeen beat Hearts, Dundee Utd and Rangers and also draw 2-2 at Celtic to stay joint-top of the league.

Thelin says : “I am very happy to accept this award on behalf of everyone associated with Aberdeen FC.

"We have enjoyed some excellent performances and results in the past month, particularly at Pittodrie where we have had brilliant support from our fans who have created the best possible atmosphere to help the team.

"The players deserve enormous credit but there is a real energy throughout the club, and in fact the city, at the moment. Everyone is connected and working together to get better every day and there is a real belief in the journey we are on.

"We look forward to returning to Pittodrie on Saturday night in front of another full house and we hope we can continue to build on our good league form at such an important part of the season."

Aberdeen defender Nicky Devlin's been rewarded for a fantastic season so far, by picking up the player's award. The right-back helped Jimmy Thelin's men continue their incredible start to the season and scored in the home wins over Hearts and Rangers.

Devlin's excellent displays have also seen him called up to the Scotland squad - he made his debut as a substitute in the 0-0 draw with Portugal at Hampden last month.
