Aaron Ramsey could make his Rangers debut against Hearts on Sunday.
The Wales captain signed on loan from Juventus on transfer deadline day but Wednesday's Old Firm clash came to soon for him.
He watched from the stands as the Ibrox side were dominated by their city rivals in a 3-0 defeat at Celtic Park.
The midfielder's last appearance came in November when he scored twice for Wales in a 5-1 win over Belarus.
Ramsey has made eight appearances for club and country so far this season.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst says the 31-year old has looked good in training and could feature in their match this weekend.
He said: "Aaron had a session today that went really good.
“We have to assess him tomorrow but he looks good.
"So we can add more players on Sunday.”
Alfredo Morelos is also available for selection after returning from international duty.
The striker didn't even make the bench for Colombia in their World Cup qualifiers against Peru and Argentina.
Van Bronckhorst said: "Alfredo came back late on Thursday night.
“I think he had three flights again coming back from Colombia but he trained as normal today and will be available for Sunday.”
