Cycling Road Race - Road Closures

Crowds have lined the streets of Glasgow hoping to catch a glimpse of sporting action throughout the Commonwealth Games, and today's set to be no different when the cycling draws to a close with the road race. Starting and finishing at Glasgow green, this is a race coupling endurance with tactics. The women will take on the course this morning, before it's the turn of the men at midday. The route will see riders head out to the west end where they'll go through Kelvingrove Park, before passing famous landmarks including Glasgow School of Art and the People's Palace when they return to the city centre.

Road closures will be in place from midnight Saturday 2nd July and are expected to remian in place for the majority of Sunday 3rd July:
