Youths say they found dead baby in a bag at Glasgow hospital

Six teenagers have been arrested by police after an alleged break-in at Stobhill Hospital in which the youngsters say they made the horrific discovery

Six boys have been arrested after an alleged break-in at Stobhill Hospital in Glasgow in which it is claimed a baby was found in a bag.

A video has been posted on a newspaper's twitter account showing the youngsters in a building with a clear bag appearing to contain fluid and the remains of a baby inside.

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde has confirmed the secured building on the hospital site was used to store artefacts which comply with relevant legislation.

A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: "Four male youths, two aged 13 and two aged 14, were arrested on Wednesday August 17 in relation to alleged theft by housebreaking at Stobhill Hospital."

"A further two male youths aged 13 and 14 were arrested on Thursday 18th August 2016 in relation to alleged theft by housebreaking at Stobhill Hospital. A report will be submitted to the Scottish Children's Reporter Administration."
