Young mum faces lonely hospital stay unless kind hearted Glaswegians step in

A young mum faces a lengthy and lonely stay in a Glasgow hospital as she battles acute lymphoblastic leukemia because her family can not find affordable accommodation close by.

23 year-old Stacey Brogan's from Glenrothes and was diagnosed with the blood cancer in February.

After a 6 month wait, a stem cell match has been found and Stacey's treatment starts next Thursday at the Beatson Cancer Centre.

There is no space in charity housing for Stacey's family and hotels are too expensive.

They are desperate to be by her side as she goes through radio therapy and a stem cell transplant and are appealing for help.
