Woman who died after Glasgow assault named

A woman who died following an assault in Riddrie has been named as Maxine Clark.

The 36 year old was pronounced dead at the scene, after police were called to an address on Tummel Street at around 7.40pm on Thursday 27 June.

A 32 year old man will appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday 1 July, having been charged in connection with her death.

He was arrested last week for assault following the incident, a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
