Woman taken to hospital after falling in water in North Lanarkshire
A woman has been taken to hospital after being rescued from water in North Lanarkshire.
Officers were called to Castlecary on Thursday afternoon after reports someone had fallen into the water.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Around 3.40pm on Thursday 11 June, police were made aware of a female falling into water at Walton Burn, near Castlecary.
“Emergency services attended and the female was recovered and taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.”
The female's condition is not known.
