Woman treated in hospital after car crashes into Glasgow building

A woman has been taken to hospital after her car crashed into a building in Glasgow’ West End.

Three vehicles were involved in the smash on Finnieston Street around 1pm today.

The 54-year-old driver who needed hospital treatment was also issued with a fixed penalty notice in connection with road traffic offences.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 1pm on Friday, 13 September, 2024 we were called to a three vehicle crash on Finnieston Street in Glasgow.

“One of the vehicles collided with a building.

"The 54-year-old female driver of the vehicle was taken to hospital for treatment. She has also been issued with a fixed penalty notice in connection with road traffic offences.

"Enquiries are ongoing."
