Woman seriously injured after hit by bus in Glasgow

A woman has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after she was struck by a bus in Glasgow city centre.
Police and emergency services arrived at the scene of the Bath Street accident at 12.50pm.
A police spokeswoman said: "She was knocked down by a single-decker bus when she was crossing Bath Street at Buchanan Street.
"She was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where she is being treated for serious injuries.''
Bath Street remains closed to traffic between West Nile Street and Dundas Street.
