A man's been warned he could face a lifelong restriction for raping a woman in Glasgow.
Ismail Ibrahim carried out the attack as she slept at a flat in Possilpark in May 2021.
The 35-year-old from Sudan appeared today at the High Court in the city for sentencing, but the case has been adjourned until July to allow for a risk assessment to be carried out on Ibrahim.
Judge Gallacher told Ibrahim: "As far as this case, I cannot sentence today.
"This is because from the information presented to me, it maybe you have shown a pattern of behaviour suggesting you may endanger the lives or well being of members of the public.
"I am bound to consider an Order for Lifelong Restriction in your case.
"I will make an order for a risk assessment report."
He's been remanded in custody.
