British Transport Police have released CCTV images of a woman they believe could hold clues about an attack at Paisley Gilmour Street station.

British Transport Police have released CCTV images of a woman they believe could hold clues about an attack at Paisley Gilmour Street station.

A man was seriously injured when he was set up just after midnight on July 8th. Officers also believe that the woman in the image witnessed the assault and would like to speak to her.

Investigating officer PC Colin Campbell said: “This was a nasty and unprovoked assault on a man who had gone into the station to get out of the rain. We would like to speak to this man as we believe he may be able to help with our enquiries.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact British Transport Police on 0800 40 50 40 or text 61016, quoting 211 of 21/11.”
